Wilton, CT – December 1, 2010. Saugatuck Capital Company is pleased to announce the sale of Floor and Decor Outlets of America, Inc. (“Floor and Decor”) to an investor group led by Ares Management LLC, Freeman Spogli & Co. and the Floor and Decor management team.

Saugatuck Capital Company and Najeti Ventures acquired control of Floor and Decor in February 2003 at which time the Company had only two stores. Today, Floor and Decor operates 25 super-stores in 9 states and is one of the largest specialty retailers of hard surface flooring in the country. Under the leadership of Vincent West, the founder of Floor and Decor, and an extremely talented management team, the Company has earned recognition as a leader and innovator in the industry.
