Atlanta-based retailer secures capital infusion to support continued expansion

Atlanta, GA – Floor and Décor Outlets of America announced the closing of an equity financing that will support the company’s continued expansion. The company currently operates nine stores and plans to open two new stores this fall. Floor and Décor has three stores in Atlanta, GA; two in Dallas, TX; two in Houston TX; one in Jacksonville, FL; and one in Glendale, AZ. The two new stores will be located in Pompano, FL and Plano, TX.

The company’s President and CEO Mike Froning noted, “We are happy to announce that our Board of Directors and Shareholders continue to show their support by investing in the future growth and expansion of the concept. This financing will allow us to not only improve our infrastructure, but to also rapidly expand in 2006. We will look to open locations in both our current markets and other regions we have identified.”

Floor and Décor Outlets of America is a retailer of high-quality hard surface flooring and accessories. The new concept focuses on price and selection and allows customers to select, buy and take home flooring the same day at significant savings over other flooring retailers. “Our stores are the same size as major home improvement stores, but rather than two aisles devoted to flooring, we are 100 percent dedicated to flooring and accessories. We offer shoppers access to products that previously were only available to industry insiders or were not affordable. Now, consumers can buy hard surface flooring like stone or travertine,” said Froning. “In the past, many of these options were accessible to the interior design and building industry, but not to the consumer.”

Floor and Décor Outlets of America features a broad selection of hardwood floors, and flooring tiles in all sizes of travertine, ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, slate, pavers and mosaics. The stores also stock decoratives for backsplashes and bathrooms including tumbled stones, sinks, meshmounts, glass tile, wall and small tile. Several lines of products necessary to complete flooring jobs including wet saws, grout, thin set, molding and transition strips are also offered. Most of these products are shipped directly to stores from all over the world providing customers with a broad selection and outstanding savings.
